Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is a part of the formal education process. Critical thinking is a very important component in the teaching and learning method. Almost in all professions, included is " critical thinking "  as a module being taught  for them to arrive  into definite conclusions, and explore different kinds of ideas.Critical thinking is a way of deciding whether a claim is always true, sometimes true, partly true, or false.> Cynthia.…See More

A few days before 2011, I resolved to completely remove rice out of my diet.  I also wanted to reduce my carbohydrate consumption.  Why?  I wanted to lose some weight, especially around my stomach - my belly.  Today, a woman who attended our seminar in Nueva Vizcaya commented how I was fat back then and how I looked "sexy" now.  Haha.  That means my diet has worked!

Therefore, I am advancing to the next round.  I have lost some weight, but I also stopped going to the gym and I have lost some of my muscle mass as well.  Therefore, I need to start lifting weights again.

Also, I want to keep going further with my diet.  I actually thought I wouldn't eat rice until January 22 only, but I am going to continue with this trend.

Next, I am going to start running more.  I really want to be healthy this year.  Of course, being healthy will manifest into looking good and feeling strong as well.  So here's to a better health and a better body!

1.  I have gone back to eating rice.
2.  Cookies, chocolate when I crave...
3.  I eat a lot when I'm hungry.

4. Almost always heavy meals after 6pm.

5. Yikes, I can't fast.
6. No grocery shopping, but I buy when I'm hungry.

7. White meat too, but pork is so accessible int his country.  It's everywhere!

I guess I have to really change my diet!!!

I follow the Bob Greene diet plan:

  1. NO RICE (Red or Brown), NO PASTA, NO DAIRY, NO WHITE BREAD, NO SODAS (carbonated water).
  2. Grains, Fruits, and Nuts only when I feel the need to chew or am craving to munch on something crispy and crunchy.
  3. I don't eat when I'm not hungry.
  4. No heavy meals after 6pm -- only veggies or fruits (juices included).
  5. FASTING once a month.
  6. No grocery shopping when I am hungry
  7. WHITE MEAT only (Chicken and Fish)

My target date to finish this diet was January 21. However, I was able to make it until mid April.
