Hi everyone! I'm Chris Delacruz, owner, general manager, and Specialist at The American Institute.
I am originally from Ilocos Norte, but grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and finished elementary to high school there. I took up political science at Seattle University, Washington state and graduated as commencement speaker. After graduation, I worked in Las Vegas before coming here to the Philippines.
I am a very outgoing person. I like all kinds of settings. What truly matters most is the people I'm with, not the place where I am at. That means I like to do many things: sports, arts, music, dance, theater, shopping, travel, food, games, books, politics, religion, community service, debate, jokes, showbiz, and so much more...
I have a very positive disposition. I believe in the Law of Attraction. I believe in success. I believe in me. I believe in you. I believe in the human spirt. I believe in God.
"Carpe diem" and "carpe noctem" are my favorite sayings. Seize the day! Or seize the night! I like being productive and having fun at the same time - I like having the right balance. I work well under pressure, but it would be nice to have no pressures! Haha.
Freedom is my ultimate goal. Freedom to do be with family and friends any time I want. That means I need money to gain that freedom! I'm working hard and smart to attain that freedom.
I love it here in the Philippines. There are so many beautiful things, places, and people here in this country, and I am here to find and experience as much as I could. Every single day is like a new experience for me. Every day is a blessing!
I hope to get to know more people. I hope to get to know you.
Cheers,
Chris
P.S. I have attached my resume for those who want to get to know me professionally.
Permalink Reply by Yuma Ishihara on January 3, 2011 at 12:39am Hello. My name is Yuma Ishihara. I'm from Japan.I'm a Japanese university student. I took a leave of absence from my university for one year, and using AIESEC ( http://www.aiesec.org/cms/aiesec/AI/about/index.html ) , which offers young people the opportunity to participate in international internships , I'm in Philippines with interning.
I wanted to go abroad before getting a job because once you get a job, you don't have enough time to go abroad. Especially in Japan, It is a disadvantage to start finding a job from more than 24years old if you don't go to grad school.
In Japan it is not usual that students take a leave of absence from school. So it is a little bit risky in Japan. However for me , it is riskier to stay Japan without knowing other countries than to do an unusual thing in Japan.
So now I'm here
Although I'll be back to Japan at the end of this month, I'd like to enjoy Filipino life with you guys.
Yuma

Permalink Reply by dadfasdf on January 3, 2011 at 8:56pm hey! hi! i'm a nobody :D i came from the slums, and i'm kinda illiterate, i don't know my abc's from my 123's, sometimes i just rant on and on like a madman, cause i am one. and sometimes i speak too loud when i don't even carry any stick, i might need to go back to the asylum one of these days, only if they can catch me, it's gonna be a cold day in hell if that happens.
well, who needs a job when i can get by through life just by mendicating :D it's the only way to be :D and proud of it too :D so i'm a loser, who cares, certainly not you! not anyone who's well to do and above the rich-man's ladder, so who cares, the cold hard grasp of the grave will come crawling on our bedsides one way or another anyway, me, i'm already a deadman, just ask my honey bun :D
i don't like sports, not much, i'd rather be sitting on my ass contemplating how i can crush this world on my whim or crush everybody else's spirit, especially th filthy rich ones. well, life's like that for me, it's always crushing me anyways, and this country is no help at all... oh crap, the voices in my head are at it again... sigh, can't even ruin an new forum without the voices in my head making a lot of ruckus...
